The mission of the chapter is both scientific and educational, it includes, but not limited to:
1) The advancement of the sciences of heating, refrigeration and air conditioning engineering and related sciences
2) The continuing education of the members and other interested students in the said sciences, through lectures, demonstrations and publications.
3) The rendition of career guidance to students of the sciences.
4) The encouragement of scientific research
