Mission
To educate the university community on Islamic values and culture through the teachings of the Thaqalayn (The Holy Qur’an and the Holy Household of the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)).
➢ Host engaging fellowship, spiritual, and social events on campus in order to create connections.
➢ Provide students with religious, social and charity services to facilitate integration on and off campus.
➢ Strive for unity amongst Muslims and to also promote dialogue among other faiths through engaging in intra- and
interfaith dialogue in order to achieve peace, harmony, mutual respect, and greater understanding.
➢ Dispel any myths, misconceptions, stereotypes, and false propaganda against Islam and its teachings.
➢ To try and create a safe and religious environment for the followers of Ahlul Bayt (as) on campus.
➢ To strive to fulfil the spiritual, emotional, social and academic needs of our members.
➢ To continually provide information about events of relevance; those that occur in the Champaign-Urbana area and other events that might be of interest to the followers of Ahlul Bayt (as).
