Mission
Akshaya Patra is a non-profit organization with a mission to provide nutritious school lunches to almost two million children every day. With 52 kitchens across numerous states, Akshaya Patra is assisting underprivileged children to obtain an education while having access to a healthy diet. With the newly established chapter at UIUC, we hope to raise money and expand the organizations positive influence to even more kids, regardless of race or religion.
