About Us
The basic mission of the Student Chapter is to advance the profession of aerosol study in UIUC. Other missions shall include: To cooperate with AAAR in furtherance of the mission, vision and goals of AAAR, and report to AAAR about our activities annually. To provide a training ground for the members and other students in our field for their professional development and leadership. To promote a platform for helping the members and other students in our field in preparing the seeking of future career in either industrial or academic fields. To foster the communication of colleagues in the aerosol field. To promote the aerosol research field to our prospective colleagues, such as high school students, interested multi-disciplinary researchers and engineers, and enhance our communication with the community of aerosol field in the United States. The advanced mission of the Student Chapter is to build a network of aerosol field with other universities in the midwestern United States.
