Mission
The Art Education Student Organization serves as the RSO to represent and unify students of the Art Education program in the School of Art + Design at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The Art Education Student Organization represent the students of the Art Education student community on campus, unifies members of the Art Education program at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, connects Art Education students with program alumni and practicing art educators, and shares information and resources relevant to the field with members, including but not limited to: K-12 Art Education, Higher Art Education, Community-Based Art Education, and Museum Education, and finally creates a social atmosphere and networking opportunities for members.
