About Us
The Black Association of Psychology Students (BAPS) is dedicated to fostering a supportive, safe, and inclusive community for Black students pursuing and interested in psychology. Our mission is to advance academic and professional excellence through mentorship, advocacy, and collaboration, while promoting the integration of diverse perspectives into psychological research and practice. We strive to empower our members, celebrate our African diasporic backgrounds, and contribute to the advancement of the field by addressing the unique challenges and opportunities within the Black community.
