The East African Community Club (EACC) at UIUC is dedicated to creating a welcoming and inclusive space where East African students and those from all backgrounds can connect over shared or growing interests in East African values, traditions, and customs. EACC is a vibrant community that promotes cultural exchange through engaging activities, providing traditional food at events, academic support, and programs that nurture the physical and emotional well-being of our members. Our mission is to provide East African students with a true "home away from home," a place to celebrate and share their heritage while building meaningful connections. open to everyone regardless of background, EACC thrives on the diversity of its members and works to ensure the rich cultures and traditions of East Africa are well represented, valued, and celebrated.
