Empower Through Health Illinois serves to foster a community of advocates, practitioners, and leaders for global equity. Students in the community will have opportunities to learn about issues in global health with guidance from relevant mentors and develop their skills in organizational management, leadership, and research.
Members of Empower Through Health Illinois will be a part of a greater global health organization, Empower Through Health. Along with this comes the opportunity to be a part of a fellowship where members visit and help conduct ground work. Furthermore, there will be chances to meet with experts in public and global health.
