TrEEE Fall Semester Information

Hello everyone,
The fall semester is only a couple of weeks away, so it is the perfect time to provide important Epsilon Eta Epsilon (TrEEE) information. 

Membership Requirements

  • $15 per semester due. This is to cover space reservations, speakers, workshops, etc.
  • Members are required to attend at least 2 General Meetings, 2 Academic Events, 2 Social Events, & 2 Service/Fundraiser Events per semester to maintain membership. Information about the categories can be found under the event & committee sections below. 
Events
General meetings will be on the first Wednesday of each month at Wohlers room 245 at 8 pm. The first meeting will be September 3rd.
  • The plan is to have at least 1 fundraiser, 1 service, 2 social events, & 2 academic events each month. Committees will help plan those events; details are listed in the committee section.  
  • Info nights will be August 25th, 26th, & 27th in Wohlers room 245. Please tell anyone who is interested in joining TrEEE about these dates!
  • Our first fundraiser event will be during the first week of class. Please contact Josh Krames if you are interested in helping. 
  • Our first social event is a picnic August 30th, 3-6pm, on the southern part of South Quad.
  • We will be doing a Big & Little program called Trees & Saplings.
    • Trees will guide saplings throughout the year as weel as plan & participate in events with them. 
    • More details to come about this process. 
  • More events will be announced at the first general meeting September 3rd.

Committees
There will be four committees that will plan different events throughout the semester: Fundraiser, Service, Social, & Academic. Each committee will have an executive member as its chairperson, plus three other members. If you are interested in joining a committee, please contact the specific chairperson for more information. 

Fundraiser Committee

Chairperson: Josh Krames, Treasurer jkrames2@illinois.edu

  • Organize fundraising events: House shows, bake sales, passive income, etc.
  • Reach out to Alumni for donations
  • Uphold the goals of TrEEE
  • Promote and provide information about TrEEE 
Service Committee

Chairperson: Julia Diaz, Membership Director jdiaz254@illinois.edu

  • Organize service events within the sustainable/environmental area: Park clean-ups, etc
  • Reach out to other sustainable/environmental RSOs for joint events
  • Uphold the goals of TrEEE
Social Committee

Chairperson: Bea Haverkos, Secretary beah2@illinois.edu

  • Organize social events: bar crawls, parties, bances, etc.
  • Reach out to other sustainable/environmental RSOs for joint events.
  • Uphold the goals of TrEEE
Academic Committee

Chairperson: Amelia Gonzalez, Vice President ameliag3@illinois.edu

  • Organize academic events: networking, workshops, trainings, etc.
  • Reach out to other sustainable/environmental RSOs for joint events.
  • Uphold the goals of TrEEE
  • Social media design for all committees
