Who Are We?
We are a student-run organization with the goal of bringing together creative people to collaborate and learn about photography. We welcome photographers and enthusiasts of all skill levels with or without a camera.
What Do We Do?
We hold a variety of events to offer our members lots of opportunities. There are more informational activities, such as meetings and workshops, to learn about various topics in photography. Other activities include excursions where members can practice the things they have learned. We often travel off-campus so people can experience places outside of campustown. Additionally, we host socials to let loose, get to know each other, and make new friends.
You can join at any time! We recognize that people are busy, so we try to keep Flashpoint flexible.
We mostly communicate through Discord and Instagram. We also send an email the week of an event!
No, we welcome everyone regardless of skill level! You can even use your phone or rent cameras out from the library.
