The Health Analytics Society serves to help students at the University of Illinois explore how data is revolutionizing the health and medical space. As one of the fastest-growing domains of big data, health analytics now produces a significant share of the world’s information, making this the best time to learn how to harness it.
We bridge biology, medicine, and data science, giving students from a variety of backgrounds the chance to turn health challenges into insight. Through hands-on workshops, speaker events, and collaborative projects, HAS empowers students to build practical and technical skills, connect across disciplines, and apply data-driven thinking to real-world health challenges.
Whether you’re studying biology, pre-med, statistics, or computer science, HAS offers a space to learn with each other and from each other — combining diverse perspectives to discover new ways to shape the future of healthcare.
