About Us
Illini Business Forum is an organization focused on introducing students to multiple business service industries and helping them prepare for future careers within those respective communities. The industries that we cover include Investment Banking, Accounting, Finance, Consulting, and Private Equity. We are also an organization that focuses on creating a relaxed environment for students to learn together and acquire knowledge in careers they are interested in. We are open to all majors within the University of Illinois. We do not want to have a competitive and toxic atmosphere, which is why the joining process is easy and simple so that students feel welcome to join regardless of experience in the respective fields. This club aims to be a stress-free and fun way to learn about careers in the corporate services world. We will have projects, case competitions, discussions, and guest speakers to name a few of the things we will be doing at meetings. We aim for meetings to be more of a low stakes discussion about business instead of a class where one person talks the entire time to teach, this is why we have the word “Forum” in our name
