About Us
The Robobrawl Committee organization aims to foster and serve the robotics community by providing opportunities for students and community members to learn about and participate in combat robotics. Over the course of the year, we host weekly workshops in order to discuss the basics and introduce newcomers to the art of combat robotics. Furthermore we host build sessions exclusively for our members to aid in the construction of their robots with technical support, guidance and materials, as well as free viewing of the 30lb Robobrawl competition. Additionally we provide professional experiences within our organization, through various technical projects to improve upon the competition. These are worked on throughout the year and improve the quality of the competition. We give back to our community by allowing free participation and attendance to our 1lb competitions to local hobbyists and students, further fostering a combat robotics community within UIUC. These are hosted multiple times throughout the year.
