About Us
Sigma Phi Delta is a social professional engineering fraternity dedicated to the advancement of the engineering profession and all engineers within our organization. We admit membership to individuals pursuing a degree in an engineering or engineering adjacent discipline. We are social in that we operate in the manner of a social fraternity, with a chapter house on campus, philanthropy events, intramural sports activities, and a close bond to our large alumni network. These efforts build and foster a deep rooted sense of brotherhood that will exist long beyond our college years. We are professional in that we are composed solely of those studying an engineering related field, allowing for a built in network of both active members currently pursuing their degree, as well as connections with alumni already in industry. The network of active members allows for increased academic support as individuals within our membership will frequently share classes, or be able to provide insight to their brothers, as well as additional professional support through resume reviews and job referrals.
