About Us

The Society for Ecological Restoration at UIUC will be a club formed with the goal of educating about and promoting native landscape restoration. We would have a focus on connecting the many industries and people invested in conservation. We want to remind students that they are not alone in their intentions. The Society for Ecological Restoration is an international organization, with a midwest chapter devoted to promoting the science and practice of ecological restoration to assist with the recovery and management of degraded ecosystems throughout the Midwestern and Great Lakes region of the USA.
