About Us
The Student’s Fund serves to create our own portfolio and invest money in U-of-I based-startups through work expected of professional venture capital analysts but instead done by the analysts of The Students’ Fund. Members will conduct due diligence on startups through pitches featuring U-of-I startups. We aim to create an environment where startups can pitch their ideas and products and our team of student analysts can vet, invest, and guide them through the process of becoming a full-fledged startup on campus and beyond. We will assist U-of-I startups with acquiring additional funding through the Cozad New Venture Challenge, IVenture, and more. The Students’ Fund will also provide opportunities for networking with popular venture capital firms like Y Combinator, Sequioa Capital, Andreesen Horowitz for our startups and student analysts.
