Join Us for the Women in Data Science Chicago Conference!

Hello Again, WiDS Members!

We're so excited to announce that we've finalized our travel plans to attend the Women in Data Science Chicago Chapter's annual one-day conference on Thursday, April 23rd! Continue reading to learn more and register to travel with our group.

WiDS Chicago is a series of networking & educational events including an annual, in-person conference that is independently organized by local ambassadors of Women in Data Science Worldwide to be part of the mission to support the next generation of data science and AI leaders.

This year, the Chicago team is hosting pre-conference Career Development Talks as well as a Career Development Panel during the conference. Conference topics include: generative AI, machine learning, data analytics, and more! You can view more details on speakers, topics, and conference timeline at widschicago.org.

WiDS UIUC is just requesting a small $10 transportation fee from non-active members (anyone that has not attended 4 events this semester), which will go towards the cost of the charter bus. The conference itself is free to attend!

You must be ready to submit your payment (Zelle/Venmo) before you submit the form. More details are listed in the transportation registration form, accessible here. At the time of sending this email, we have 30 seats available still!

We will be keeping a close eye on the form and will close it when we've reached capacity ― feel free to invite friends outside of WiDS to register and tag along!
