Opens 8:00 a.m. Aug 24, closes 11:59 p.m. Sep 2. Review takes three to five business days.
Last day to request an Honors Credit Learning Agreement
Add the HCLA to your semester plan in the portal by 11:59 p.m. — the 30th day of classes.
Drop-in advising, 2:00–3:00 p.m.

Incoming first-year students
You must be invited through Admissions to participate in your first semester. If you were invited, you are already in — go to the portal and submit your semester plan.
Everyone else — self-nominate
Apply in the portal during the first 10 calendar days of the fall or spring semester if you:

Pick your sections before your priority group opens.
Honors credit
Turn courses you are already taking into honors work through an HCLA.
Research and travel
Programming in undergraduate research, international experiences, and career development.
Funding eligibility
Access to funding opportunities open only to James Scholars.
