We are Mariachi Alma de la Universidad de Illinois, a vibrant ensemble rooted in the heart of La Casa Cultural Latina at UIUC. As a collective, we are deeply passionate about preserving and promoting traditional Mariachi music, celebrating its rich cultural heritage, and the profound ways it nourishes our almas. We serve to play this genre of music to the CU community, representing the University with pride in our institution and our culture.
