About Us

Psych Bites serves to: i. Publish at minimum one high-quality, peer-reviewed issue per academic year to educate on research developments in the University of Illinois psychology community and/or the broader psychology community. ii. Provide opportunities for professional growth of its members through the inclusion of featured guest speakers, writer’s workshops, leadership experiences, and scholarly publication. iii. Foster connections with the broader University of Illinois student body through events welcoming of members and non-members and events in collaboration with established RSOs. iv. Promote equity in mental health through philanthropy and/or volunteering events.
