Public Policy Leaders is a student organization at UIUC dedicated to helping students explore careers in public policy, especially those outside the traditional law school path.

We connect students with faculty, government officials, and industry professionals through events and offer professional development workshops.

Through case studies and hands-on projects, we encourage students to tackle real policy issues, build leadership skills, and develop bipartisan solutions. Open to all majors, we value diverse perspectives and welcome anyone passionate about shaping public policy

I’m a sophomore double majoring in Agricultural and Consumer Economics with a concentration in Public Policy & Law and a Political Science minor. I'm excited to lead and help students explore policy careers and develop professional skills!

My name is Karcin Roth, and I am a Junior studying Agricultural and Consumer Economics with a concentration in Public Policy and Law on the Pre-Law track. I am highly involved in the College of ACES and various leadership organizations. My interests lie in governance and law, with a focus on understanding how policies are developed. I will be serving as the Membership Director of Public Policy Leaders, and I am excited to take on this role.
