About Us
The UPA is dedicated to the service of all students with an interest in psychology, and seeks to serve its members through hosting events and panels with academics and professionals in the field, connecting students with relevant academic and career resources on campus and beyond, preparing students for life beyond their undergraduate studies by hosting resume/cover letter and networking workshops, hosting social events, and organizing volunteering opportunities. In short, the UPA’s primary mission is to help its members achieve excellence on campus while preparing them for the world beyond their undergraduate studies. UPA is associated with Psi Chi, an honors society for high-achieving students in the field of psychology. To note, not all members of the UPA are members of Psi Chi, and vice versa.
