Illini 4000 is a nonprofit dedicated to fighting cancer through tangible action. Each year, members bike across the country to raise funds for cancer research and patient support services — along the way, they document the American cancer experience through an initiative called the Portraits Project, sharing the stories of those touched by the disease.
