About Us
Hello! We are Illini Awaaz! As the only South Asian Co-Ed accapella group on campus, our main goals include promoting inclusivity and cultivating a creative environment and outlet for college students. Throughout the year we perform locally at a variety of cultural and music-related events; we also rehearse, participate, and compete in the ASA (Association of South Asian A Capella) circuit during the spring semester. We encourage anyone and everyone to come to auditions during the first week of school and can’t wait to see what the next school year brings us.
