About Us
MIA is a Gies endorsed, student organization dedicated to helping students understand how macroeconomic forces shape global financial markets. Through macro education, market application, portfolio simulations, and career preparation, we train students to think like macro investors and prepare for careers in finance, investing, and trading. In addition to formal instruction, MIA operates a live portfolio simulation in which members work in structured teams (“pods”) to manage a simulated $1 million multi-asset portfolio.
