About Us
The Black Business Network is built and designed to create professional opportunities for minority students on the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign campus. We are able to do this through the many different social, professional, and developmental and philanthropic events we hold each year. We show this through our commitment to our 3 pillars: Activism, Connection, and Enrichment. Through our pillars we will: create space for black students and allies (Gies or not) to learn more about the business world, open up networking opportunities for whatever career path students desire, create a safe space for black students to express their experiences within both academic and professional settings, develop our members and set them on track to be ready for their future careers.
