About Us

The mission of Emergency Management at UIUC is to enhance emergency preparedness within the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) and its surrounding communities. This is to be achieved by serving as a central hub to connect local stakeholders, offering support to local volunteer fire departments, and providing free and low-cost emergency training to the community, with a particular focus on the UIUC community. Additionally, this RSO (registered student organization) aims to provide educational opportunities and practical experience in the field of emergency management for its members. Emergency Management at UIUC works closely with UIUC's Office of Emergency Management.
