About Us
The Graduate Students of French & Italian serves as the organization to represent the interests of all graduate students affiliated with the Department of French and Italian. GSFRIT also organizes social activities throughout the year to promote aspects of Francophone and Italophone culture for both members of GSFRIT as well as the greater UIUC community on campus. Through this organization, students are encouraged to voice their opinions, participate in a supportive academic community, and be assured that GSFRIT collective decisions are given consideration in the various departmental committees formulating policies regarding students.
