Members Benefits

HOK provides members with more than traditional pre-health opportunities—we aim to build a genuine community and support system. Members gain access to volunteering, community service, healthcare professionals, research exposure, pre-health workshops, professional development, networking, and hands-on experiences that can help them explore different healthcare careers. Through our family and mentor-mentee structure, members can build meaningful friendships and connect with older students who can provide guidance on courses, research, shadowing, clinical experience, volunteering, interviews, and the pre-health journey. Members also have opportunities to collaborate with other RSOs, take on leadership roles, participate in social events, and develop skills outside the classroom. As HOK continues to grow, members will have the opportunity to help shape the future of the organization. Active members may pursue Executive Board positions and other leadership opportunities. Upon graduation, active members are recognized with a Heart of Kindness graduation cord and a special gift in appreciation of their dedication and service.
