About Us
The Minority Business Students Association (MBSA) is a community of ambitious, driven students who are committed to growing professionally, personally, and together. We create experiences that help our members turn their goals into action, building the skills, connections, and confidence they need to succeed both at Gies and beyond. Our four pillars, Professional, Corporate, Community, and Philanthropy, shape everything we do. Through our Professional pillar, members develop career-ready skills, gain insight into recruiting, and learn from peers who have navigated the same journey. Through our Corporate pillar, members connect directly with companies and industry professionals, gaining firsthand insight into different careers, workplace cultures, and what it takes to succeed in the professional world. Our Community pillar creates a space where members can build genuine relationships, find mentorship, and surround themselves with people who support their growth. And through Philanthropy, we give back and use our collective presence to make a meaningful impact beyond our organization. At its core, MBSA is more than a professional organization, it is a network, support system, and community. We empower underrepresented students to recognize the value of their perspectives, pursue opportunities with confidence, and become the best versions of themselves while bringing others along with them.
