Prospective Students

Congratulations on taking action for the next big step of your life: College! Please browse through our resources, including taking a look at our signature event for prospective students: High School Visitation.

You are more than welcome to reach out with any questions relating to engineering, NSBE, Illinois, or college in general!

High School Visitation (HSV)

What is HSV and how does it work?

The High School Visitation is an opportunity for high school seniors who have been admitted to the Grainger College of Engineering to participate in an immersive weekend experience that includes campus tours, hands-on demos, and networking with faculty as well as current NSBE members. Travelling, accommodations, and meals are fully covered by NSBE!

Our recent HSV!

From April 17th-19th, our chapter hosted 14 high school students at our Spring High School Visitation! The High School Visitation this year transcended all expectations, introducing an Engineering Design Challenge, Study Abroad Panel, Alumni Dinner, Tour around campus and much more! Check out the picture to the right to see all of the students and volunteers who participated in this year's HSV!
