Our goals include the following. Career preparation: Workshops, resume help, speaker events with government officials, policy professionals, or alumni. Networking: Connections with faculty, alumni in law/government, and other students with similar career interests. Leadership: Members can run for officer positions, draft constitutions/bylaws, plan programming (e.g., civic engagement events, policy debates). Service: Often emphasizes civic service and community outreach—things like voter registration drives, volunteering, and public policy advocacy. Social: Builds a cohort of peers who want to pursue government-related careers, with mixers or informal gatherings.
