About Us
PASOS, meaning “steps” in Spanish, represents the journey of growth, progress, and support we take together as students. Our organization is open to all UIUC students, especially those in the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences—who are interested in psychology, mental health, and serving the Latine community. Each letter of PASOS stands for a step: advancing knowledge in Psicología, building Avance through education, strengthening Sociedad (community), creating Oportunidades, and centering Servicio (service). Through these steps, we aim to empower underrepresented voices, promote cultural awareness, and create an inclusive space where students can learn, connect, and thrive academically, personally, and professionally.
