About Us

The Wildlife Society exists to - Promote opportunities for improved communication among individual members locally and with other student chapters, the Illinois Chapter, the North Central Section, and the Wildlife Society. - Enhance the education opportunities particularly for students in Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences, Integrative Biology, Animal Sciences, and the Graduate Program for Ecology, Evolution, and Conservation Biology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. - Prepare members for careers in wildlife biology, conservation, and management. - Encourage professionalism and high standards of scholarship. - Foster campus and community awareness of wildlife issues.
