About Us
The Electric Propulsion Initiative (ION-I) serves to provide an earlier approach to a research environment related to Electric Propulsion to undergraduate students through hands-on challenges. The organization will encourage the research, development, and testing of the First Student-built Electric Propulsion Thruster at Illinois while inspiring students to get more involved and interested in research in deep-space propulsion systems.
