Celebrating Latin America & the Caribbean brings together students, faculty, staff, and the vibrant Latin American and Latinx community at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign for an exciting celebration of culture and community. Enjoy live music, dance performance, delicious food, and more while connecting with others and learning about the rich diversity of Latin America and the Caribbean. The event also offers a wonderful opportunity to engage with our sponsors, including the Center for Latin American & Caribbean Studies, La Casa Cultural Latina, the Grainger International Student Community, and members of the local community.

Come and join us in a world showcase presented by our UIUC international students and staff! The program will include folk dance performances, music, prizes and more! Travel Around the World will highlight the different cultures and traditions of our UIUC international student population via food & drinks, arts & crafts, music, performances, etc.

Celebrating Africa brings together students, faculty, staff, and the vibrant African community at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign for a lively celebration of African cultures and traditions. Enjoy delicious food, live music and dance performances, and more while experiencing the richness and diversity of the African continent. This event is also a wonderful opportunity to connect with the African community at UIUC, engage with the BNAAC and Center for African Studies staff and faculty, and build relationships with members of the local community
