Fees & Requirements

To be in the club, members are required to pay $25 annual dues and sign our Code of Conduct.

  • Yearly Dues

Members are required to pay $25 annual dues. If joining during the spring semester, dues are $15. The deadline to pay your yearly dues for the 2024 - 2025 school year is September 13, 2024.

Dues go towards educational and social meetings. Some meetings and socials may have an extra cost associated with them, but we try to make them as low-cost as possible!

To pay dues after the deadline has passed, please email our treasurer.

  • Code of Conduct

Members are required to sign the club's Code of Conduct. It includes important information about how the club is run and has members agree to act in a way that fits with the club's values!

The deadline to sign your code of conduct for the 2024 - 2025 school year is September 13, 2024.

To sign the Code of Conduct after the deadline has passed, please fill out the form and send an email to our president.

  • Team & Lesson Expenses

We partner with two off-campus barns that offer English and Western Lessons. Since they are privately-run businesses not affiliated with the University, they require extra expenses. For more information, please see this page for more information about lessons with our English Coach, Terri Foreman, and this page for more information about lessons with our Western Coach, Meg Tyler.

We have two riding teams with the IHSA: one for English riding (hunt seat) and one for Western riding (horsemanship). IHSA requires members to pay a $45 fee to join one team for the year or a $65 fee to join both teams for the year. Class fees are $50 per class.
